While cuda-oxide requires a nightly toolchain and LLVM, cutile-rs runs on stable Rust 1.89+ and CUDA 13.3 without needing custom LLVM. NVIDIA plans to support inter-language interoperability between CUDA Rust, C++, and Python, ensuring developers aren't locked into one ecosystem. Users can start with SIMT examples using cuda-oxide or Tile examples with cutile-rs. These tools aim to bridge the gap between Rust and GPU kernels, aligning with NVIDIA's broader shift to Rust for system layers like drivers and inference engines.

FAU CA-AI Team Shines at DARPA Lift Challenge
